My Favorite Things – Laura Mercier Eye Basic Primer

I have something to share with you.

laura-eyeprimerI posted back in July that I was having a horrible time with eyeshadow, eyeliner and the challenge I have to keep the colors from “bleeding” across my eyes.  I received great advice from many friends and bought the Laura Mercier Eye Basic primer.  WOW..what a difference!  Now I can wear both powder and creme eye shadows(the Laura Mercier ‘Caviar’ Sticks being my favorite) with no need to worry whether my eye shadow is staying where it belongs.  After over 4 months of use, I am almost ready to purchase a second tube.  It has definitely become one of my favorite things!!

My Favorite Things – Laura Mercier ‘Caviar’ Stick Eye Color

I have something to share with you.

caviarsticksI am always on the lookout for beauty items that save me time and the Laura Mercier ‘Caviar’ Stick is the perfect fit.  Regardless of whether I am home or on the road, I can cover my eyelid with my Laura Mercier Eye Basic primer and then add a bit of color with my Caviar stick.  The sticks are super easy to use, come in a variety of colors and blend nicely with your finger or a shadow brush.  I started with the khaki color and added the sapphire and the orchid to add a bit of color on a fun night out.  But the khaki is my go-to color for the day regardless of it being the weekend or a weekday.  Apply a little or a lot, it is the perfect must-have beauty item. Next on the shopping list – GOLD!!

Update: The Crease (Doesn’t) Looks Bad (Anymore)

I have something to share with you.

A few weeks ago I posted about my inability to apply eye liner and shadow without having it bleed all over my eyelids.  I am happy to share that I received recommendations from some friends on Facebook and it has made a world of difference.

Laura Mercier Eye Basics

So what did you recommend?

laura-eyeprimerI bought Laura Mercier’s Eye Basics since I am already using their caviar sticks and love the color options.  I chose the Linen color so I could use it as a base and have it help brighten my eyes!  Thanks for the help!  Now I can learn how to do a smoky eye…any advice??
