Handwritten?

I have something to share with you.

You get a gift, you say thank you. Easy, right? For me, whether it was a birthday, a holiday, or just because, I always sent a handwritten thank you note. And I taught my daughter to do the same.

But the struggle is real. As she gets older, sitting her down for two hours to write 10 cards is a huge challenge. What happens when she gets more than 10 gifts? I can already hear the complaints…..

TouchnoteAnd then she got a thank you note from her friend after a birthday party and it was sent from a website. Wait- I know you can do this for holiday cards but thank you’s? It was a simple postcard from a company called Touchnote with a picture and personal note from her friend saying thank you for coming to my party and for the great gift. And it hit me- the other moms DO NOT expect a handwritten note. Any thank you note is appreciated. I could finally let go of this false expectation that I had placed on myself and make the process easier for me and more fun for my child. More expensive? A little but worth the money- MOST DEFINITELY!

So now, great grandma will still get the handwritten note and my daughter can go online and send her friends a thank you note with a fun picture!
