I have something to share with you.

I mentioned a while back that I use Shutterfly to keep all of my pictures in the cloud  Yes, I also have a cloud service for all my files but specifically for pictures, Shutterfly is my chosen site.

I think I have over 50,000 pictures uploaded since I started back in the early 2000’s.  And since I keep my photos organized by month, it is easy enough to find what I need.  But, I wanted to put together a special collage of photos for my father-in-law and thought how the heck will I find all of the pictures he is in  with my daughter?  After all, I have uploaded thousands of photos over the past 7 years.  And then I saw the people part of the timeline.

Yes, it takes a little time to start tagging people but it immediately recognized quite a few people who I have taken photos of – me, my daughter, my husband, even friends.  And once I started tagging people, it started finding them.  It was awesome and made this project so easy!
