I have something to share with you​.

This is one of the many reasons I started this blog.  I always learn something new from other moms and wonder why I never knew this before.  Thanks CB for teaching me something new!

How many slices of cake can you get out of a 12 or 14″ inch round?  I’ve now learned a new trick to cut even size pieces and have a second cake to cut if needed.  How? A super clever trip I learned from a recent birthday party.

Take a round cake and cut a circle in the middle of it.  Then cut slices from the outer ring first and cut the inner circle into more slices if needed.  The cake slices are not super long and all the kids get a “normal” size piece of cake.  Genius!!
