I have something to share with you.
I am always asked to send out family photos. And as a working mom, I do not have time to go through the hundreds of photos I take, print the photos, and then mail them to our two great-grandmas and all the aunts and uncles from both sides. I know, most people share their photos on Facebook. I just joined Facebook this summer and although I have posted a few photos on my “wall”, I still rely on another service for sharing of my photos. I am able to upload all of my photos to their cloud, upload videos if I choose, and share them with select people or members of my share site. Yes, I am talking about Shutterfly.
I have used Shutterfly for over 10 years. I love that I can have a share site for family photos, a site for my daughter’s soccer team, another for her school class and use all of my photos to make books, cards, mugs and lots of other stuff. Every month I move the photos from my iPhone and camera to my computer, open the express uploader and let it run. Then I can decide what photos to share via email, to have printed and mailed by Shutterfly or posted to my share site. It also sends an email to all of my share site members on a monthly or weekly basis so they know when new photos have been added. My extended family in California, the Northeast, and in Florida always know what is going on!
They have photo books. I made one for our wedding, our honeymoon, my daughter’s Pre-K art show, our new house…….the options are endless. I am in the middle of creating a family recipe book so I have quick access to my most used recipes! We used shutterfly for my daughter’s pre-school yearbook. It was 94 pages of awesome!
And, if you send out holiday cards like I do, you can make those too AND all of your photos are already there to use. Talk about a time saver!
